Borneo Jungle

Borneo Jungle Expedition

Borneo Jungle

Borneo Jungle Expedition

An opportunity of a lifetime: your students can go to Borneo to complete a meaningful, sustainable and long lasting humanitarian aid project that will truly make a difference in people’s lives. Every service project we undertake is unique and is given to us by the local people who desperately need basic resources and help.

The students will also learn Jungle survival skills in the rainforest so that they can cope in difficult situations and be confident in themselves; then they will test these skills in a desert island survival setting on a small island off the north coast of Borneo.

They will also attempt to obtain their Padi Diver open water certificate in the most beautiful and best kept diving secret on the planet, giving them a new skill set and a formal qualification.

Amongst other things they will be educated to GCSE and A-Level standard Biology, Geography, PSHRE and other subjects. They will get to see the hustle and bustle of Kota Kinabalu, the Orang-utan sanctuary at Sepilok and relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Peru

Peru Expedition

Peru is a mystical and magical place steeped in rich culture and sometimes bloody history; it has everything from the deep impenetrable Amazon jungle and its astonishing wildlife to some of the highest and most impressive mountains in the world. It also has deep endless forbidding deserts that seem empty and impassable….but not for Really Wild Education.

This may be the most enriching expedition you will ever go on. Come with us not just on a trip to see the sites but on an exploration!

Come to the Jungle with us where you will step beyond the edge of civilisation and go to places that few have ever travelled. You will learn a wealth of knowledge of the fauna and flora of the deep Amazon, its tightly kept secrets that will allow you to feel right at home in one of the words toughest environments.

You can walk the legendary Inca Trail to see one of the greatest ancient wonders of the world, Machu Picchu, walking in the shoes of the world’s great explorers.

But the exploration doesn’t stop there. We have a unique opportunity to go to the seemingly impassable desert regions and look for buried treasure in the form of ancient fossil remains of giant whales, and the largest carnivore to ever be discovered in the history of the world! To put a great learning twist on this there are opportunities to do GCSE and A-Level coursework/cases studies in Science and Geography, degree based dissertations and even post grad and PHD research in Geology, Palaeobiology, Palaeontology and other subjects.

The above mentioned activities can be done in any combination and duration, with focus on multiple disciplines and educational subjects. Drop us a line and put together your own exploration to the edge of the world.

Research and Exploration

Our aim is the positive progression of the Human family; in scientific discovery, environmental sustainability, anthropological research, continued mutual respect and human equality.

Really Wild Education’s leaders have been to every corner of the globe, in situations from adventurous expeditions and first ascents to military service, humanitarian aid projects and scientific and geographical research.

We work with educational institutions and NGO’s to complete specific research based projects, specialising in technically and logistically difficult environments. We also have many links with world class experts in the field of science who can help.

If you have exiting research that you would like to complete or if you would like to create your own bespoke project from A-Level to PHD and post graduate or even private institutional projects, get in touch.
